My blog is up

Based on the urging of Josh, I finally got my blog going. It will likely go through some formatting changes in the near future, but I am planning to post every couple of days. I try to keep them short, so I appreciate anyone taking the time to check it out and especially to comment (even if you only have some smartass remark to make... I think you know who I am talking to)
