did you all hear about this...
WILSON COUNTY
Mt. Juliet woman dies in single-car accident
A 23-year-old Mt. Juliet woman died early yesterday after apparently falling asleep while driving west on State Route 840 in Wilson County, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Amy Biddle was found dead at the scene of the single-car accident, which occurred about 5:10 a.m. at mile marker 74 on State Route 840, THP spokeswoman Melissa McDonald said.
Biddle was not wearing a seat belt when she apparently fell asleep behind the wheel, veering off the roadway, McDonald said. The car flipped three times before landing in the median.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the deadly crash, THP reports.

All the Programs You'll Ever Need
What? No posts after 4 days? I thought this blog was the best thing since sliced bread. The Great White Hype if you will.
I thought I'd weigh in on this blog and bring you all the programs you'll ever need. Download these and I guarantee you'll be happy or your money back. And I didn't even get paid one measly dime to say that.
- Privoxy - Great ad blocking program.
- eDexter - This along with Privoxy will almost guarantee an ad free web experience.
- Trillian - A must if you use more than one instant messenger service.
- Firefox - If you're tired of IE worms and pop up ads, this is the browser for you. It has some really great plugins including...
- Firefox IE Skin - Make Firefox look similar to IE
- IE View for Firefox - Is a page not loading properly in Firefox? Just right mouse click and choose View in IE.
- View This Page in Firefox - A plugin for Internet Explorer.
- Bugmenot Extension - Bypass manditory registration sites.
- Dictionary Search - Highlight a word and right mouse click to look it up in an online dictionary.

Visits?
Hello all... I thought I'd check in since I had a moment.
Whitney (Whitley) is coming to visit me in two weeks, over her spring break. For those of you who are NOT up to speed... she is attending Cumberland University, and will be married to Lane Rockensock in May 2006. She'll be here over both Rodeo and St. Patrick's Day... these are huge, drunken, debaucherous events. Plus, we'll get to go and see Jack and his band play a show in San Antonio... and see the Alamo, Riverwalk, etc.
Alex Shaw... you may or may not remember her... is coming the weekend before Easter to visit with her new boyfriend, Ryan. They'll be here for three days, and then over Easter holiday (we get M. Thursday- Easter Monday off!!), Jack and I are taking a trip to the Shelton family farm for him meet my father and grandmother for the first time.
Right now, my life is relatively relaxed... work is great, I get lots of free time with an adjustable schedule, and I am having great weekend trips to museums, lakes, blah blah blah. I will miss this when I begin LSAT study (March 1) and following up to taking it (June 6th). Bryan, if you have any tips... send 'em my way, please.
I think all of you have my current phone number... email me hayleyj82@hotmail.com
if you don't... I'm not posting it here. And you better not either, Scott. :)
I agree with Pap... Shaun of the Dead is a great movie... and you guys know how I feel about zombies! I actually bought it... two thumbs up.

A movie you should see, and another you should maybe see
Since Hunter posted about a movie, I thought I would as well. For anyone who hasn't seen Shaun of the Dead, you should do so on a night when you feel like watching a British romantic comedy zombie movie. It may sound a little unappealing to some (especially the "British" part), but it is one of my favorite movies.
If you like that one and feel like watching a movie where an aging Elvis (played by Bruce Campbell) and an old black guy who thinks he's JFK battle a mummy in a Texas retirement home, you should see Bubba Ho-Tep. I recommend that one too, but it is far weirder than Shaun. That is all.

Well this b'log can finally get started now that I'm on the scene. I would have started sooner but Bryan only told me about it the other day. As a side not, my hotmail account is no more. Cynicles is dead I'm afraid. So if you need to send me anything ryanpappert@yahoo.com is the way to go. Or you can send it to my CDC email. Ryan, you may find your collective self asking, what is new in the sexy rollercoaster that I can only imagine your life to be? Well no matter how badly anyone else's life is at the moment, I hope it will serve as a consolation that my life is great. Babes, bucks, I got it all (Note: Ryan may not actually have babes or bucks).
For anyone that forgot, or just pretended to be listening the last time I spoke with them, I work at a small branch of the CDC out here in Fort Collins (sometimes known as Boulder) Colorado. I test human and animal serum samples for plague and tularemia. I am also working on a PCR test for sub-typing different strains of tularemia, but I'll spare everyone the specifics. I live in a house with 2 other guys and a girl. I have a cat, a hamster, and 2 bettas. Nina and I have been together for a year and a half now and things are going well. When I am done at the CDC I will probably go the Myatt route or the Burka route. Yes Scott, I am considering pharmacy school. As you can see my life is the stuff that MTV reality shows and Puff Diddy music videos are made of. Hopefully you are all drooling with envy and eagerly awaiting my next post.
Also, I saw Constantine twice and agree with Hunter that it was pretty good. As long as you have no problem with a movie based on a comic book and starring Keanu Reeves, then I recommend it.

soooo...
so has anyone seen Constantine yet? because if you haven't, you're wasting your time doing anything else. so go see it. it didnt get good reviews but i thought it was pretty cool. and i really didnt think reeves did a bad job at all. and the reality of the movie (most parts at least) just arent that far-fetched, so it's got my seal of approval (and i know movies... well).
so i was thinking, do you think we should see about invinting as many mt. juliet people to this (blog) as possible or just leave it at this?

from boston
Well, looks like we all have another excellent use of time on our hands...
Some interesting posts; I haven't really kept up with you all, but this is a nice means to do so, I suppose.
Leanne-- Wow-- Kansas? Sounds exciting! Best of luck with everything-
Bryan-- You like Vandy?
Hayley--- I really don't know anything about you anymore-- a musician? Houston?
other TN folk--- enjoy the weather, you lucky b@#%*&$%
As for myself, I am just overwhelmed by grad school and life here in Boston. I have several auditions coming up for orchestral conducting programs; with any luck, I'll leave the New England Conservatory and start Yale this fall. Other than music, life has been rather shitty. I came out of a pretty heavy relationship in December and haven't really recovered yet. The truth, ladies and gentlemen, is that no matter how hard you work, long distance relationships rarely work out. Ah well... life goes on.
Keep up the interesting posts--- perhaps I'll see you all again sometime.
Ciao

I guess today's the day
Hi guys.
I finally blogged in (thanks Josh).
Let's see: to catch up(since he won't)...I am a graduating senior(finally?) in Anthropology. The plan is contingent on that funny guy you all know and love, although I have secret plans to enroll in grad school for the Fall06, for work in Medical/Environmental Anthropology. Access to clean water is my schtick, and I really hope I get to work doing that research/activism.I'm sure this is just fascinating to you. I'll explain more if'n you ask me sometime.
So yeah. That's about it. No big news at the moment. Just schooling like crazy (reading ALL the stinkin time for school) and enjoying Knoxville as much as possible.
jesse signing off. ::wink::

HOLD IT
We've been going about this totally wrong. This is what needs to happen (I just did this)... There is a setting for the creater of the blog (the fictitious mj2000) to "invite" others to join. If you do it that way, we aren't all using the same username. When you get invited, you just join it and post it as a contributor. That way, it automatically signs your name at the bottom (see below). This way is much more logical than the way we are doing it. If everyone is ok with it, I think we should set it up like this instead.
PLUS if we do it this way, nobody can sign anyone else's name.

Dangit
I forgot to put my name on the last one. I hate the comments becuase you have to open them and scroll back down to see what you have missed. My idea is that we NEVER use comments that way you can just scroll down to the last one you read and read all the ones above it. Doesn't that make sense? In honor of my plan (and against the democratic spirit), I have disabled comments for this post. The comment system is incompatible with our way of doing this. If we use comments, they should only be an aside comment between the commentor and the person who posts. Then again, lets just disable comments completely. So what if we have tons of messages, we have to read them all anyway if we are to follow our scheme.
Another alternative might be to have everyone do one post per so-and-so (day, two days, week) then they can converse through comments (people post replies, then the original writer can post a reply through a new comment). That is a much more topical method though and can get confusing if one post talks about other posts (which post would you reply to?)
-Bryan
P.S. Johnna, that was me who gave you the info.

Many thanks to Hayley for the foward thinking to get this started and to Josh for getting it done. I'm looking foward to the creative banter and keeping up with you all.

I Caught you a Delicious Bass...
Thanks Hayley and...Leanne? Who posted and told me how to do this biz-nass?
I'm at my internship right now at Universal Music (Mercury, MCA, Lost Highway and Dreamworks). Home of the late Johnny Cash, and the great(ly) sexy Ryan Adams. We basically sit around here and check our e-mail 20 times a day. Its fantastic. Ideally one day I'll have a REAL job that requires the same. JK- its actually pretty tedious. We're a part of the New Media group, so we're basically building a website that ties together all the individual labels.
Lets see what else?
Still in school, will be forever. Plan to study abroad next year. I'll hopefully go to Italy (for a year).
I'm also still with Mike, which is crazy-its about 8 mths now! He's looking into some federal jobs-FBI, Secret Service-all that crap. Which leaves one to question, how did I end up -w- this guy and HAYLEY got the musician?

concern one
okay my only concern now is that people arent going to use the comments and instead create a new post to reply to everything, creating approximately 10,000 posts a week. . . which is bad.
so in conclusion . . . dont forget about the comments below.
aaaaaannnnnd go.

Various Replies
Johnna- Click the "Eblogger" button at the top left.. it'll take you to a sign in page. It took me a bit to figure it out as well.
Hayley- Blake turns 21 on Wednesday... it is scary that he is already a father and can't legally drink until Wednesday. He's a good dad though, he's very responsible these days.
Scott- I like drugs, will you be my friend?
Law school is going well. I am interviewing this week and next for my summer job. Law jobs are sweet, 1200-2200 per week depending on the market. Not too shabby. Yes, that's right, per week. Hopefully I'll get one of those jobs. If not... maybe I get evicted... who knows. Classes this semester are better than last semester. Property, Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law I, Criminal Law, and Legal Writing II. Gotta run, need to prep for interview

V. v. impressive.... LOVE the name! Also, I do have a big heart.... jerk. Killing time at my job until lunch. We need to periodically update each other with weekly life. In other news, my sister (Whitley to YOU all), turned 21 yesterday. Aww.... and I hear HG served her her first legal drink @ Longhorn.
Keep your filthy paws off my sister, G.
Aaaand for the record, Scott is gay.
